D-Bug Inc. specializes in smaller residential concrete work such as driveways, sidewalks, porches, patios, basement floors and basement entrance way steps.( We also pour colored concrete as shown in the picture.) D-Bug Waterproofing does all of the prep work by removing the old cement or asphalt and disposing the debris. Next, we re-grade or excavate the area. A good solid gravel base is then prepared before any forms are built. The wire and re-bar is cut and prepared for the concrete forms. Next, the cement is mixed, poured, screeted, and floated into place. D-Bug Waterproofing uses three main finishing techniques which are broom or brush finish, swirl finish, or smooth finish. All can be done with or without a finished edger or picture framed. A smooth finish is done mainly on interior work such as basement or garage floors. Outside you want to add texture to the finish so it is not slippery. On outside cement work, we seal the cement after the finishing work to help protect it from the elements. Finally, the forms are removed and dirt added to plant grass.
D-Bug Waterproofing does the complete job on the outside from breaking ground to planting grass, and on the inside from removing the floor to installing interior French drains, to replacing the sewer lines, or any plumbing under the floor (if needed).
